The User-Centered Collaboration Framework is a product/service offering developed and offered exclusively by Expershare, that allows users to graphically and dynamically manage collaborations and the related data virtually – enabling a high degree of workflow flexibility and data independence. The Metatdata Tracing Framework was originally developed for clients in the biotechnology sector, for the purpose of tracking and tracing relationships and history among disparate data types over the lifecycle of drug discovery and development. Since that original deployment, the User-Centered Collaboration Framework has been expanded and genericized in application purpose, and is now offered as a general purpose framework for maintaining dynamic links through metadata.
Collaborators construct and interact through defined common contexts which have access to both current and historical data. Results are traceable as decisions, outcomes, and actions with supporting data. Collaborations may reference other visible collaborations and a wide variety of data sources spanning the range of data formats. Users may structure an individual view to reference visible collaboration, view, and data elements.
